Mini Games
From Universalwiki
Mini-games are small games that can be played on worlds. Which mini-games players can play depends on the world. There can be many mini-games on a planet.
Crowfighting
One of the most popular mini-games is Crowfighting. Press F5 while on a world to join the crowfight. Arrows keys steer the crow, and the forward key is used to accelerate. Holding the shift button speeds up the crow, but doing so costs energy. Tab, Shift-Tab and Control are used to fire. The weapons that are used depends on the crow using them and the world where the players are crowfighting. Using weapons costs energy. If a player is hit by a weapon, that player loses energy. Using weapons and the shift button use energy until there is not enough energy to use them. They will not work if the player has not enough energy. Being hit can cause the amount of energy to reach 0, in which case the RoboCrow is destroyed. When your RoboCrow is destroyed, you usually lose an insignificant amount of money, depending on the planet you are fighting on. Even if you lose a little, no big deal. You can learn in the process.
Watch your energy level - with 0 energy your crow disintegrates. You lose energy when firing, accelerating and when you are hit. It is replenished slowly.
Racing
Many worlds include a race track (either on land or on water) to be used by one or or more people. A series of flags appear along the race course and every player must go through these flags (in order) to complete the race. The person to do this the fastest is the winner.
Current settings allow for the number of laps and the entrance fee to be set. Best lap times are displayed, so if there is no one else to race you can try for getting your name on the list to employ for later bragging rights.
To begin a race type ".startrace" in the chat window (no quotes) a race menu will then be displayed to select the race settings. Anyone else on the world is eligible to join by typing ".joinrace". A player can leave a race by typing ".leaverace".
