Jubal Harshaw

The history of Jubal Harshaw is largly unknown, & murky at best. Jubal Harshaw A.K.A BLACKHAT to his enemys, first appeared briefly in the explored systems of galaxy in the early days of it's expansion. During this brief period his life was unremakable, often working as a farmhand on the settled planets and doing a modest bussiness in trade goods until his sudden dissapearance. Where Harshaw went during this time is mostly a matter of speculation. The most common story is during a trade run a malfunction in his drive system caused his vessel to go wildly off course and end up on an alien world deep in the unexplored regions. During the years of his time there he was taken under the wing of an elder of the species and tought much of their knowledge. Upon his return Harshaw, soon joined with the SR, and quickly rose through their ranks due mostly to his piercing insight in to enemy action, remarkable wisom when dealing with allies, & willingness to go into battle against terrible odds. Upon the explosive & unexpected demise of SR, Harshaw formed a faction of ronin known as "The Band Of The Hand". The "Band" as they are often called are merc. in nature and without any observable leadership structure.
