I'm not trying to be an asshole or anything, but I don't like having that picture on the front page. Other people might disagree, though...so, please post your thoughts on this: do you want that picture on the front page?

*I say remove. I don't like having pictures on the front page, there's already an image on the top left, and I don't really like the picture.VDZ 16:27, 8 June 2007 (EDT)

*i say keep but change.  a picture to represent the wiki is a good idea, but it'd be nicer if it was smaller.  then it could be used in place of the 'universal wiki' text in the top left. - zaroba

*Remove I believe honesty is the best policy. That's pretty bad. --Jayecifer 17:51, 8 June 2007 (EDT)

*I say keep. Although I'm usually against pictures on the front page, this one looks really neat.VDZ 15:12, 13 June 2007 (EDT)

As you've all noticed, we've been having a lot of spammers recently. A possible solution to stop the spammers is to only allowed registered users to edit. [edit] Recent Additions

How about a box where new additions to the wiki can be listed, say a top five or something? --Smurfy 20:58, 9 June 2007 (EDT) (tag added by VDZ)

You mean something like Special:Recentchanges? I use it all the time. VDZ 15:09, 13 June 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Protected the main page

I've protected the main page. This means you can't edit it. If you want something changed on the front page, just post it here. (If you're wondering why it's protected: damned spammers change the front page. Changing normal pages is just annoying, but the main page should be left as is. Damn them.)VDZ 14:54, 15 June 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Spam attacks: disable unregistered editing?

As you've all noticed, we've been having a lot of spammers recently. A possible solution to stop the spammers is to only allowed registered users to edit. Creating an account is free, but some people don't want to create an account. They might stop editing if we'd switch over to registered-only.
