Kei's mother went partying one night with her fiancé and some of his college friends. She doesn't remember much beyond the beer and the group of rowdy delinquents who showed up. Kei was born a bit more than 9 months later. Neither parent has any suspicions about Kei's paternity, since they began trying to conceive shortly afterward; the party was the last opportunity for Kei's mother to indulge herself without risking damage to any possible child.

Kei remembers one sunny Sunday when she was eight: her father tossing baseballs underhand while she tried to hit them. Miss -- miss -- whack! -- the joy of success, and her father's smile. With hard work and dedication, she became the star of her middle-school and high-school baseball teams. Now that she's out of high school, she's supporting herself by working part-time at a cafe, playing with a local club team, and struggling with the decision of whether to aim for the World Cup, American Major Leagues, or to enter university and become a Productive Member of Society.

Kei spent a year of high school as a foreign exchange student in Seattle, learning English and baseball directly from the source. She also practiced aikido in between baseball and studying to keep her grades up. Baseballs aren't the only thing she can throw well, though in the heat of the moment it can devolve into simple brawling.

Raiden recently appeared (as a fat beardy slob) to give Kei "the talk" and her Birthrights. Kei's natural reaction at being accosted by a this sort of delinquent was to give a disdainful sneer and to ignore him, of course. After some "convincing," Kei sat still long enough (in the presence of such a disgusting man!) to learn about the titans and so forth. She then grudgingly accepted the birthrights that would let her access her god-inherited powers: "Ch. I guess it can't be helped, then."

(Mortal) Father Masaki (正樹), 39. Played baseball when he was younger. Works at an advertising firm to support his family. Tired.
Mother Mikiko (美紀子), 38. Emotionally distant -- seemingly cold. Tries to uphold tradition. Frustrated with Kei.
Herself, Kei (恵), 18. Tries to help her parents and keep her siblings in line, but her drive to excel takes priority.
Younger brother Takashi (隆), 16 (高2), troublemaker, hits on anything that moves, isn't successful very often. Receives occasional "correction" from Kei. Gives Makoto trouble occasionally but tries to keep the serious delinquents away from him.
Younger brother Makoto (誠), 13 (中1), bookish, glasses, bullied. Looks up to Kei but too easily frightened to handle himself the same way.

Age 18 - 175cm (5'9") - 65.7kg (145lb) - Brown eyes - Short black hair, typically mussed up

Frequently wears T-shirt with open buttondown shirt and jeans, or sweatshirt and sweatpants, if not in baseball uniform. T-shirt and shorts are also possible. If greater formality is called for, suit and tie will be employed. No currently living humans have observed her wearing a skirt.

Relic 3 (Fulgurite pendant - Guardian, Psychopomp, Sky)
A small locket containing a bit of fulgurite fused by one of Raiden's personal lightning bolts.
It grants access to the Guardian, Psychopomp, and Sky purviews.
Relic 2 (Bat)
The wielder can use a feat of strength to "throw" objects -- actually hitting them -- while being able to take multiple actions. (cf. Making It Look Easy, God:63) It also doubles the range of a normal thrown item when used.
It can be commanded to disappear into Hammerspace, to be brought out with appropriate spectacle at a later time.

Part 1: The Basics

2. Where and when were you born?

Japan Tokyo-to Meguro-ku Jiyugaoka 3-chome 12-1, upstairs, on 1991 August 10 (Saturday), about 6pm. (Kidding. Close enough, anyway.)

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.

Thanks to that bastard Raiden's meddling, I have apparently emigrated to the United States and am currently homeless. Isn't it great.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?

Nah. All-around healthy.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?

11. What does your voice sound like?

It's deeper than most women's. I'm glad I'm not one of those squeaky-voiced girls.

18. Did you enjoy school?

Sure. Keeping my grades up was a lot of work, but the rest made up for it.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.

Well, my Dad of course -- not that bastard Raiden, my REAL Dad.

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?

It was a mix, I guess. I knew some people who were worse off, but... yeah, I can't complain.

22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Top baseball player, of course, but before that a lot of things. At one point I wanted to be a giant robot, hahah.

23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?

Playing sports and stuff with Dad.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?

Dad says I was always climbing over everything, running around like crazy, and getting hurt from tripping and stuff.

25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?

Oh, sure. In middle school I was always getting confessed to by girls, hah, but after a while they realized they liked boys, mostly. It calmed down after that. A lot of boys were scared of me-- or jealous. Some of them tried pranks when they couldn't beat me at sports. There were some girls -- and even a couple boys -- who didn't see me as some sort of competition or target. With those I could relax.. it was nice.

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?

Summer break, first year of middle school. Itou Ayako (伊藤綾子)... it didn't turn out well. Probably turned her straight.

27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?

I'm not prejudiced against men. They are truly animals. Well... except my father, but he's different.

Wander the city, hit some clubs or whatever's open. Even better if somebody happens to hurt themselves on my fist. Self-defense, of course.

I hit things. Then I hit them more.

Spontaneous, I guess, but it's nice to have backup.
