'''''[[wikipedia:Hazbin Hotel|Hazbin Hotel]]''''' is an American adult animated musical comedy television series created by [[wikipedia:Vivienne Medrano|Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano]]. The series revolves around Charlie Morningstar, princess of Hell, on her quest to find a way for sinners to be "rehabilitated" and allowed into Heaven, via her "Hazbin Hotel", as an alternative to Heaven's annual "Extermination" of souls due to Hell's overpopulation. The series is produced by an independent entertainment company [[wikipedia:A24|A24]] and animation studio [[wikipedia:Bento Box Entertainment|Bento Box Entertainment]], in collaboration with [[wikipedia:Amazon Studios|Amazon Studios]].

==Plot==
+
-
The series follows Charlie Morningstar, the Princess of Hell, as she sets about fulfilling her seemingly impossible dream of opening a hotel called "Hazbin Hotel," which aims to rehabilitate sinner demons. Due to overpopulation, Hell goes through an annual purge where angels, led by Adam, descend from Heaven and kill sinners. Charlie finds this upsetting and wants to find a more peaceful solution to the overpopulation problem. Her goal is to have her clients "check out" from Hell as redeemed souls and be accepted into Heaven.

-

+
-
With the help of her devoted manager and girlfriend, Vaggie, and their reluctant first patron, pornographic film actor Angel Dust, she is determined to make her dream become a reality. But when her proposal on live television goes awry, her plan attracts the attention of the powerful "Radio Demon" Alastor, who despite finding her belief in redemption laughable, wants to help Charlie run the hotel for his amusement.

== Why You Should Enter The Hazbin Hotel (For Good Reason) ==
+
-
# The concept of having a show where Charlie Morningstar (the Princess of Hell) believes that redemption is possible for all demons and hopes that it will help with the betterment of the kingdom is incredibly cool.
+
-
# The likable characters are well-written and entertaining to watch.
+
-
#*Charlie Morningstar is adorable and relatable and cares about her friends and her people. She is naive and theatrical while brimming with passion. Charlie does everything in her power to make everyone happy, and she is determined to fix the overpopulation problem by making her kingdom a better place.
+
-
#*Vaggie is a pragmatic, cautious angel and the manager of the Hazbin Hotel, who devotes a great deal of her time towards attempting to support Charlie with her vision for the hotel. as well as guide her away from as much trouble or humiliation as possible.
+
-
#*Alastor is a notorious entity in Hell and one of its many overlords known for his frightening demeanor, extraordinary power, and sadistic sense of humor. He has offered to assist Charlie in her endeavors of rehabilitating sinners into reaching Heaven, albeit, for his amusement.
+
-
#*Angel Dust is an adult film star in Hell and a sinner demon who was elected to be the first patient the Hazbin Hotel attempts to redeem, Angel's selfish actions of using the hotel as a rent-free living space threaten to jeopardize Charlie's dream.
+
-
#*Husk is a sinner demon who has the duty of front desk clerk and bartender at the Hazbin Hotel.
+
-
#*Niffty is a sinner demon who works as both the maid and cook for the Hazbin Hotel.
+
-
#*Sir Pentious was a Victorian-era demon striving to be modern and cool and had a passion for building steampunk machines of destruction. His goal in the pilot was to conquer Hell using his machines and army of Egg Boiz. He was the second sinner the hotel was attempting to redeem.
+
-
#*Lucifer Morningstar is Charlie's father and Lilith's estranged husband. He is the ruler of all of Hell and one of the Seven Deadly Sins, embodying the sin of Pride.
+
-
#Great episodes, including Dad Beat Dad and Radio Killed the Video Star.
+
-
#*The [[That's Entertainment (Hazbin Hotel)|pilot]] episode is also great, too and it's a great start to the series.
+
-
#The character designs are nice/decent for both the pilot and the series.
+
-
#The voice actors do an amazing job, both pilot and series, even from the most well-known actors and actresses such as [[wikipedia:Erika Henningsen|Erika Henningsen]], [[wikipedia:Stephanie Beatriz|Stephanie Beatriz]] (who voiced Mirabel Madrigal in Disney's 60th animated feature film ''[[Encanto]]'', Sweet Mayhem in ''[[The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part]]'', Batwoman in ''Catwoman: Hunted'', Gertie in ''[[Ice Age: Collision Course]]'', Gosalyn Waddlemeyer in ''DuckTales'' (2017), Nimue in ''Tales of Arcadia'', and Chimi in ''Maya and the Three'', and Pepper in ''Dogs in Space''.), Blake Roman, [[wikipedia:Alex Brightman|Alex Brightman]] (who also voiced Fizzarolli in ''[[Helluva Boss]]'' and Beetlejuice in both the musical of the same name and in ''[[Teen Titans Go!]]''), Amir Talai, [[wikipedia:Kimiko Glenn|Kimiko Glenn]] (who voiced Peni Parker in the [[Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse|Spider-Verse]] [[Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse|film]] series), [[wikipedia:Keith David|Keith David]] (who voiced Dr. Facilier in ''The Princess and the Frog'', Childs in ''The Thing'', Thel 'Vadam in the ''Halo'' series, Streaming in ''[[Regular Show]]'', President Curtis in ''[[Rick and Morty (seasons 1-3)|Rick and]] [[Rick and Morty (seasons 4-present)|Morty]]'', Julius Little and the fictionalized version of him in the ''[[Saints Row 2|Saints Row]]'' [[Saints Row IV|series]], and King Andrias in ''[[Amphibia]]''), [[wikipedia:Jeremy Jordan|Jeremy Jordan]] (who also portrayed Varian in ''[[Tangled: The Series]]'' and Winn Schott in ''[[Supergirl]]''), [[wikipedia:Brandon Rogers|Brandon Rogers]] (who also portrayed Blitzo in ''[[Helluva Boss]]'' and characters from the Brandon Rogers Cinematic Universe).

#Cultural references that are nice and aren't in your face.
+
-
#The plots are interesting and neat, for the most part.

-
== Bad Qualities ==
+
-
#This series was very controversial even for religious people. They made Adam, the first man on Earth a villain in Season 1.
+
-
#Some unlikable and mean-spirited characters such as:
+
-
#*As mentioned in (WYSETHH <nowiki>#1</nowiki>), Adam is an awful villain in this series, He is sexist and misogynistic since he calls women "bitches", like in episode 6, after he caught Vaggie, a former exorcist, sparing a young sinner, he got so mad that he stripped her of her wings, as well as one of her eyes, leaving her to suffer in Hell.
+
-
#*Valentino is the worst character in this series, He sexually abuses Angel Dust for awful reasons like in episode 4, He beats him due to Charlie accidentally setting on fire, and he almost tries to hurt her.
+
-
#Sera, while being nice, was completely Mary Sue, in episode 6 where she won't let the sinners become the redeemed in Heaven.
+
