• Peter tells Mary Jane that he is Spider-Man. MJ initially laughs at this statement but Peter then proves it to her by wall crawling in his bedroom. He explains everything that has happened to her and tells her that she must keep the secret.
• Peter and MJ almost share their first kiss when they are interrupted by Aunt May, who has been hearing strange sounds from Peter’s room (their hushed conversation) and assumes that Peter and MJ are fooling around. May calls MJ’s mother, who demands that MJ come home immediately.
