You can read the story without logging in, but if you want to add or edit pages, you'll have to register and log in. This is to discourage vandals and spammers. If you do vandalise or spam this wiki, the forum crazies will hunt you down and do sick, twisted things to you. You have been warned.

Introduction

As stated just above that imposing block of bold caps, this is a fan made CYOA for TZH fans. It's set in the TZH universe and will follow the actions of a different team of Zombie Hunters in the Wasteland and ARC Island. You will be able to read and write from the perspective of each team member.

The team itself will have the same numbers and organisation as the TZH team. It will have a Captain, a medic, a driver/mechanic, a firearms expert a navigator and a demolitions expert. Other than that, the details of each character are up to whoever writes them first.

As it is set in the TZH universe, all information about places, jobs, zombie types, ETC, applies here.

The squad

Information about the squad can be found here. When a squad member is first written, please add their information here. This is to provide a reference and to avoid making several of one character. Information should include their name, age, date of birth (Date and month only), gender, eye colour, height, infected status, assignment/duration and equipment they start with. If anyone is feeling arty and decides to do a picture of a team member, please feel free to put that in here too. Please note that this information can change as the story progresses, and that these changes will not be mentioned here.

If there are any replacements or non-team characters introduced, please provide their details here too and a link to where they are first introduced. Replacements will occur if a hunter is killed or gives reason to be fired.

Equipment they start with: Hunter's axe, 3x pipe bombs, 1x frag grenade, 10 pre-prepared Semtex charges. Explosives kept in satchel.

Before the outbreak, John was known as 'That crazy redneck' by most people who knew him. He spent most of his days brewing moonshine, drinking it or fishing with dynamite. After reaching ARC, John gladly signed up to be a Zombie Hunter because, in his own words, "'S the only way I get ta blow shit up, ain't it?"

How to do it

The basic principle of a CYOA is that you read a section of the story and can then choose what happens next. The way this is done is by clicking the option you'd like to read. If it hasn't been written yet, you write it.

An example of how this CYOA works

Internal links (used to go to the next section) are done like this: [[Page name | Link]] If you choose to 'Do something else', please edit the section you're on and add the option you want. Please keep the writing style consistent and only use second person narrative. When writing a new article, the title should be Previous section/Option chosen. Using the example above, the titles would be Whatever hapened previously/Shoot the crawlers -> Shoot the crawlers/Run away -> Run away/whatever happens next.
