The Harpoon Gun is one of the weakest weapons in Lara's arsenal. It made it's first appearance in Tomb Raider 2 and made a reappearance in Tomb Raider 3. On land it has no effect, but it can be effective on some enemies when Lara is in the water. A good alternative to the harpoon gun would be pistols or the Uzis, if it is possible for Lara to climb out of the water.
