Copyrights has always been a big issue on the internet, ever since the internet was set up as a source for information and entertainment. Therefore the TR-Archive has a few rules when it comes to editing this archive. Some of the rules here are also described in the general rules of this archive.

Pictures:

  • When uploading pictures that you have collected from the internet, please be sure to write where you got the picture from in the Summary box on the upload page.
  • If the picture has a little logo in one of the corners, then don't remove it, because it says something about where the picture came from.

Articles:

  • When you are starting a brand new article, you've probably collected some information from other places on the internet to help you out. It is okay to do that, as long as you don't copy and paste the information directly into the article. Write the article in your own words. It looks better that way.
  • If any website has said that they don't want their articles copied, then don't use their material in the making of your article. Some websites are very strict about this.
