Timeline
The game begins in the Antiquity Period with the tutorial level being the Dark Age. It then progresses to the Middle Ages Period. After that, the time period hits the Early Modern Period, with the Renaissance, the Elizabethan Period, Age of Discovery, The Reformation, and the Age of Enlightenment. The next period is the Modern Period which consists of The Industrial Revolution, Napoleonic Era, Victorian Era, Edwardian Period, Machine Age and the World Wars, with finally the Atomic Age, Cold War, Space Age, Information Age and The Future.
Note: These are only European time frames, but perhaps in future releases the user might be able to choose to play as a Non-european nation. In this case the timeline would most likely follow that of Chinese or Japanese history.
Also: Although these time frames are linked to certain leaders and nations, the periods reflect only technological developments, tensions and motives rather than modern nations.
