A pepper mill

I follow her gaze and see a tall column sitting on a waiter's tray that was on a tray stand. It was a Lucite pepper mill, tall and phallic.

No one is looking, so I nab it and hold it along the length of my forearm to conceal it. I was extremely jazzed by the idea.
