The Scourge Splitters appear after you've retrieved the Time Crystal on almost every level in TimeSplitters 2, sporting guns from the Time Period that you are currently fighting in. These Splitters are believed to be the leaders of all the TimeSplitters. They are the most human-looking ones and stand on two legs. Their chest cavity is open and blue flames spew out. Their head is a floating featureless face with white eyes. If when playing as Scourge Splitter you pick up the Invisibility Powerup, the blue flames are still visible.

There is a running debate on the TSMB about the origin of the splitters, and of all the theories, most support the notion that the scourge and drone splitters are the only true ALIEN splitters, considering that the Berserker was genetically engineered, and that the other 2 splitters use lightning, which is also visible in the mutant freaks of TSFP, bringing about the conclusion that the reaper and TS1 splitter are built as well.
