Perhaps one of the most (if not the most) famous maps from the series, Chinese features a good balance of indoor areas and outdoor action. It is set at a Chinese restaurant and includes the gardens round about it. Chinese appears in all three games however in each it changes it's appearence. In TS1 the colour of the curtains on the walls and the lamps are red, there is a chair in the basement but no tunnel. In TimeSplitters 2, the colour scheme is green (posing that there is a new year) and one of the cupboards in the basement has moved. In TSFP, there is a tunnel connection the basement to outside as well as the chair being gone.
The main action points of the map are in the kitchen and around the garden. Chinese also features an Easter Egg: in the reception room there is a gong which can be punched or fired upon to make it sound.
