The Ghost Gun only appears in TimeSplitters Future Perfect. It is some kind of energy beam weapon, and its only use is to combat, as the name implies, ghosts. It cannot damage any other enemy. It comes with special goggles, allowing the ghosts to be seen and targeted.
In multiplayer, however, the weapon is capable of damaging all opponents. The goggles also seem to have been amalgamated into the weapon, because selecting it will display all opponents in a ghostly, blurry, shimmering light. (One point worthy of note - in this form, monkeys actually appear larger than normal, making them easier to hit with this weapon.) Also, the ghost gun will not 'damage' enemies in the traditional sense; instead, it 'sucks' their life from them and gives it to the player, making this weapon particularly handy when health is low.
