The hope is that reliance on menu systems can be kept to a minimum in the game. This is because the game is taking a K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid) approach to dealing with time travel. So there is a need to have the majority of information that the player needs available to them via the game's HUD (see the In Game Information section for further details). Outside of the game's HUD their are only three more main menu systems.

A simple overlay screen that the players can bring up by pressing the Q key. It displays the primary and secondary objectives for the current mission the players is on. Completed objectives will be greyed out.

In keeping with the simple ideas of the game a fairly straight forward and easy to understand options menu is needed.

The options menu is principally for players who like to get the most out of the visuals for the games they play and for the tweaking of other settings such as gameplay options and sound.
