Allied/Non-Hostile NPCs
P.A.T
The main character and player's main point of interaction in the game. P.A.T is the artificial intelligence that is part of the main character's wrist based time travel device. P.A.T is Personal Assistant Technology and must do everything it can to help the main character. This includes keeping both him and the player updated on the state of their time travel capabilities and details on the local time period's location and history. P.A.T will also serve as the game's equivalent of a hints system for when players are stuck.
Non-Aggressive Dinosaurs
Mission 3 sees the player heading to the Jurassic Era and rather than just having a couple of dinosaurs milling around in the background we want the player to encounter a wide variety of them of all various shapes and sizes. So we are looking at 5-10 non-hostile dinosaurs that will react to the player in a variety of ways.
Crusaders
In Mission 4 the player has to aid a band of crusaders on their pilgrimage to Jerusalem. In the main group there should be five distinct characters that conform to action hero tropes. So we will need characters along the lines of; a big hulking tank of a person, a wisecracking swashbuckler, the everyman leader, the smart one and the blood thirsty one. The crusaders are accompanied by a few priests and travelling civilians.
Allied Forced
A cross section of the best of the World War II Allied Forces will be needed for mission 5. So we want basic infantry to crack teams to commanders.
Civilians
The various time periods of the game will have areas filled with civilians of the time to help sell the idea that the player is actually travelling to these different time periods. We will need various designs for the following types of civilians:
Modern Day
Far Future
Medieval Pilgrams
World War II (this includes nurses and medical staff along with civilians)
Not to distant future
Ancient Egyptians
Victorian Londoners (from all classes; Upper, Middle and Lower)
Time Agency Non Hostiles/Scientists
Opposing Force Non Hostiles/Scientists
Enemies
Time Agency Operatives
Made up of a colourful bunch of stem punk styled time travellers the Time Agency has a flare for elegance about it. Everyone is allowed to have their own distinct look because they do not conform to a militaristic higherachy
Opposing Force
Think of them as the future soldiers. They use a lot of machinery and advanced technology to give them the edge over any opponents they come across.
Hostile Dinosaurs
If it looks like it will eat a man it is a hostile dinosaur. So we need the classics like T-Rexes and velociraptors all ready to attack the player.
