Feel your way around the stack of paint cans

You shuffle around the stack of paint cans and find the work bench. You use the makeup case like a spotlight until you find the flashlights. There's two of them standing side by side in the recharger. You pop one from of the base and turn it on. The beam appears strong, but doesn't pierce the darkness quite like it should. Still, it's better than the makeup case, which you put back in your pocket. The temperature drops. There's something cold and dark in the basement with you. Do you:
