You tell the doorman you have been in an emergency, and ask if you could use the phone. He shakes his head, no. You tell him you cannot walk to a payphone. Reluctantly, he directs you to the lobby pay phone. You walk in. You get up to the phone and wonder if you should make a call or check out the surroundings.
