Try to talk to the cat yourself

You decide to try to contact the cat yourself.
That night, you light some candles in a circle around you on the floor. Then you call out..."Here, Kitty, kitty, kitty"
For a while you don't hear anything, then suddenly, there is a MEOW right behind you. You spin around, and are amazed to see the cat's head floating in mid-air, like the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland. Flames dance around the cat's head. It's green eyes look straight at you!
