Data puts down the live ghak and sour cream lebonese roll he was enjoying to talk to you.
"G'day mate." he greets in a thick Russian accent. You sense he's feeling broken-hearted, but of course since he's a robot you can only sense his feelings and not his full thoughts.
It's just a hunch, but maybe Data isn't operating properly?
