Forsyte Saga, The

From Thikipedia

The Forsyte Saga is the collective title of a series of novels by John Galsworthy. They deal, in a manner full of both humour and pathos, with the vicissitudes of the three Forsyte brothers: Soames, Bruce and Frederick. All three are blessed with extraordinary powers of clairvoyance, which they exploit to make their fortune on the stock market.

The novels were popularised by the classic BBC drama in 1984, which saw all traffic grind to a halt as people abandoned their vehicles to go and watch the latest episode at the nearest branch of Dixons. It was this series in which Bruce's famous catchphrase was coined, "Charmed to see you, charmed indeed".
