Missy Misdemeanour Elliot

On July 1st every year, in the town of Elliot in Gwent, female contestants compete to prove that they have the best demeanour.

The contestant who demonstrates the best outward behaviour, especially towards others, is crowned Missy Misdemeanour Elliot. The current champion, who has won the title every year since its inception in 1997, is pictured below.

As with similar titles, such as Miss Understanding and Miss Congeniality, there is a great deal of scrutiny over the sexist nature of only allowing female entrants. As a result, it seems likely that as of 2007, the title will be renamed "Missy or Mister Miss or Mister Demeanour Elliot".

Event organisers wrongly complain that this isn't as catchy.
