Miss Congeniality

Every year, at the same time as the Miss Understanding awards, the Miss Congeniality awards are held in Lacock in Wiltshire, England.
The awards celebrate congenital birth defects and at the end of the seven day festival, a prize is given to the female with the most debilitating congenital defect.
Even though very few people attend the festival - even those with congenital defects - it is held every year as the local council fears being seen as congenitalist if it were to cancel the event.
