The Garden Gang was a popular ITV show running from 1972 to 1980.
Graeme Garden, Bill Oddie and Tim Brooke-Taylor, the three reporters of the Garden Gang, would investigate cutting-hedge news items of the day. The show appears very dated now and can occasionally even generate laughter.
The Garden Gang was instrumental in breaking the news off the giant kitten that briefly terrorised central London in 1972, although this sometimes now seems to be all that the series is remembered for. This can anger devoted fans.
