Concordance of Fealty
From Theorder03
"I gladly accept your offer, Shinobi. I will take great care of it, for it symbolizes our bond. In return I will give you my lightsaber."
Concordance of Fealty was a tradition from the old Jedi Order. The tradition is entrusting one's lightsaber to a fellow member of a Jedi order. The exchange of lightsabers represented trust between the two, and a serious even sacred bond. It could also be seen as a Master-Padawan relationship between the two. This was a tradition used in the old Jedi Order of the Republic.
Jedi Master Zree Koon brought this old tradition back by finding some information on it while researching history. Zree Koon and Bruck were the first to use this tradition in The Order.
