Kirth Mawin

Kirth Mawin was a male human from the planet of Tanaab who became a Jedi Knight of The Order. An apprentice to Jedi Master Zree Koon, Kirth Mawin was one of his best apprentices and a key figure within The Order. Kirth went on to become a member of the Jedi council and train his own Padawan, Xiahou Kun. Shortly after he resigned from The Order. He returned back to The Order as a Jedi Knight.

Biography

Early Life

Kirth Mawin was the human son of father, Croh Mawin and mother, Maima Mawin. He was born shortly before the Battle of Tanaab, and during this battle, he was discovered by The Order. He was discovered, still an infant, and identified as a Force Sensitive by Jedi Master Zree Koon, who was then a Jedi Knight, traveling with his Master, Lakai.

Initiation and Padawan Training

As an Initiate, Kirth Mawin studied those around him, rapidly growing in his abilities, especially his intellect and understanding of people and of The Force. After a while, he was taken aside by the man who first discovered his abilities and potential, and was brought into personal training with Jedi Knight Zree Koon. Through years and years of intense training and bondage between the two, Kirth and Zree were like brothers, and came to withstand many, many feats.

When Knighted, Kirth Mawin stood proudly amongst his fellow Jedi, and belt accomplished. His new status, although great, came with responsibility. He worked with those around him, and became an even greater Jedi with each passing day. However, the darkness began to grow around him.

The Dark Side

During his Knighthood, Kirth Mawin discovered some intruiging things about a darker side of The Force, which promised great power beyond imagination and restriction. Due to Kirth's lack of physical power, which was replaced by a strong mind, he was seduced by the dark side of The Force to gain this great power, and seek "enlightenment," becoming the greatest of them all.

However, his power grew too fast, and his life slowly became less existent. His soul was latent, and it was only a matter of time before his end would come.

Limbo

As a follower of the dark side, Kirth was known as Sagacious, and was very well known and held a high reputation among the other Sith students, which were few. He lost touch with himself, though, and one day, his life ended. He had gone mad, and threw himself off the tallest tower of the Sith temple he had called his home at the time. His body was englufed by immense and overpowering heat contained in lava and magma. His body was absorbed by the earth. His life seemed to cease to exist.

There was another chance, however. His soul remained intact, and so he became a spirit. This spirit was not dark, though. It was, in fact, a Jedi spirit. His true light shined and broke through the barrier his dark thoughts had created, but even with his sanity, he had no body to occupy. This was where his second chance came to appear.

The Clone

Shortly before Kirth Mawin left in pursuit of the darkness, Jedi Consular Zree Koon, who had recently gained this status, had detected it within him, and took silent action, for all hope seemed to be lost in his old apprentice. In safety, he secured the genetic material of a clone of his good friend, and kept it hidden for the time being.

When he saw the spirit of Kirth Mawin enter his dormitory at the Jedi temple, he was more than pleased. It was a surprise to Kirth, who did not know of this clone, but was able to enter his new body, which appeared the same as he had before he left for the Sith temple. The clone had been able to regenerate unconsciously over time to the exact age of Kirth Mawin. It was what many would call a "miracle."

Repentance

Kirth Mawin learned from his mistakes, and was allowed back into the Jedi temple. With his newfound thankfulness and dedication to the order, he never ceased to help anyone in need. He did all he could to assist in any way he could. In time, he would receive an award, and a lasting friendship.

Being a Mentor

Kirth Mawin met a young Initiate known as Xiahou Kun, an intuitive Rodian that was friendly, confident, and intelligent. Kirth bonded with the young one over the course of a couple of months, and he decided to teach him as his own Padawan learner. The two forged a friendship as strong as his had been with Zree Koon, and many years would pass as this relationship grew, as well as knowledge and strength between the two Jedi.

Once Xiahou was Knighted, Kirth no longer had his Padawan to teach. However. the two still continued to communicate as they always had, and things ran smoothly around the temple. Unfortunately, The Order would suffer a great loss in the eyes of many.

The Supposed End

On a mission to the distant planet of Turantia, Kirth Mawin and Xiahou Kun, both Jedi Knights at the time, sensed a great disturbance. They sensed a dark disturbance that was more powerful than anything they had ever witnessed. When they passed through a door while the other Jedi continued their mission, they were met with a Sith Lord, who spoke with them more hours and hours until a Duel of the Fates was proposed and engaged. During the battle, the limits of all three men were pushed farther than they could fathom.

However, one would pass on to the netherworld of The Force, and in this case, it was Jedi Knight Kirth Mawin. In his final, yet painful moments of life, he relayed a farewell message to Xiahou Kun, who brought it to the Jedi Order in tears. This was the end of Kirth Mawin's life, and he had no more chances to return to those he had nurtured and had been nurtured by for the majority of his own life.
