The Israeli Navy (Hebrew: חיל הים הישראלי, Heil HaYam HaYisraeli) is the naval arm of the Israel Defence Forces, operating primarily in the Mediterranean Sea in the west and in the Gulf of Eilat, Red Sea, and Gulf of Suez in the south. The current commander of the Israeli Navy is Aluf Eli Marom.
