The Voyager class Helicopter Destroyers are Australian designed and built AEGIS equipped Helicopter Destroyers in service with the Royal Australian Navy. They are made by the Australian Submarine Corporation, in South Australia. The design is based on the American Arleigh Burke class Guided Missile Destroyers. Their main role is anti-submarine warfare, for which they are equipped with VL-ASROC, four or five Seahawk, and MU90 Torpedos.
