A legendary American record producer, songwriter, and musician, famous for pioneering both 1960s girl groups and the "Wall of Sound" recording technique.

Phil Spector was charged with second-degree murder regarding the death of Lana Clarkson, an actress and nightclub hostess, in 2003. A mistrial was declared in September of 2007.
