A reference to the General Mills cereal, Trix. In the commercial to which the animated rabbit mascot attempted to obtain a bowl of the cereal, only to be inevitably thwarted. This would be accompanied by the slogan "Silly rabbit. Trix are for kids". Tripping is a slag term for the effects of hallucinogenic drugs.
