Possible, although unlikely, reference to the Album and Song by Cliff Richards, which would fit with the overarching theme of cristianity (he was voted the 'most famous christian' the uk [1]. But may not fit with the rosta of artists already mentioned.
Also, it may be a reference to a line in 'Singing in the Rain', which simply denotes that a character is ready for action, albeit with a new and unfamiliar situation.
