Historical notes on Siberion

An unassuming sector tucked along the south-eastern edge of the human cluster, Siberion is all but a quiet suburb. Residents here are some of the most creative, free spirited, and rebellious of the entire cluster. Due to its proximity to inter-cluster trade routes, and long distance from the central government on Earth, here on Siberion many races and ideas mingle and flourish. And every 2 years the Pan-Galactic Exhibition are held here, where merchants, inventors, performers, and artists gather to showcase their merchandises, works, and talents, making Siberion one of the most traveled popular destinations for the curious populace of the galaxy.

Siberion Sector was originally built and settled by colonists who were wary of the incessant political bickering between Earth and the core colonies; it later saw the arrivals of political exiles, artists, mercenaries, philosophers, criminals, merchants, and other opportunities over the years. During the war, many refugees also sought shelters in this rural sector. As a result, Siberion Station is one of the most multicultural and tolerant locales in the galaxy, welcoming everyone regardless of race or ideology.
