Faexze
From The Pardusian Chronicles
Historical notes on Faexze
Situated between Epsilon Eridani and Alpha Centauri, two of the oldest human space colonies, Faexze made an ideal site as a refuel station for trade between the two systems. While traveling through Sol is faster, many traders prefer the Faexze route to take advantage of available cheap fuels, or less congested space lane. This trend reached its peak right before the first intergalactic war, when talks of secession from the old world were supported by many inhabitants of the two colonies. For the colonists, they saw Faexze as a mean to sever themselves of their dependence and tie to the old world.
Then the war broke out, and humanity was forced to band together against a common threat. Yet Faexze station saw a period of increasing demand for its fuel and energy production to support the war effort, and enjoyed two decades of prosperity unlike many other worlds touched by the war. To this date, Faexze continues to produce ship-grade fuel for the cluster, and welcomes traders and visitors alike on this little corner of the galaxy, where one can find not only cheap fuel, but excellent food and savory wines.
