Historical notes on Lave

Lave Station, tucked away in a quiet corner of the human cluster, is less well known then the other frontier stations. Built primarily to facilitate research and overseeing mining operations in Miarin, it never attracted much attention from the public.

Perhaps then it came as no surprise that the Lave sector was the chosen site for top secret military research conducted by the Human-Rashkir alliance during the last war. Its relative isolation from populated worlds and busy trade route afforded great security, and being far behind the frontline gave it protection. No records of these testing were made public of course, though it is officially said that several key advances in armour plating and ship fabrication technologies were developed here, giving the alliance the strength it needed in that brutal conflict.

Today, a gigantic Museum of Military History is located on the promenade of the Lave Station, detailing the events of the war and the heroes of the past, allowing visitors to pay tributes to the many brave soldiers, engineers, and scientists that fought in each their ways during that bloody war. No more was Lave a research station tasked with ensuring the survival of the race, but that honourable heritage will always be part of it. So come and take a look while you enjoy a relaxing afternoon stroll on this glorious station.
