Historical Notes on Iceo

For the water-loving tourist, Iceo is a prime destination. With most of the land being in a series of archipelagos near the equator, an average humidity of 85% and annual rainfalls surpassing 800cm, it would seem that gills are a priority for life on this planet. Vast hydroponic farms produce scores of embryos destined for farming, but little (if any) excess food.

Despite proximity to the Imperial Starbase located in Quana and the Imperial Military Outposts in PASS-EMP 01, Iceo has faced a chronic shortage of supplies. Citizens have long accused the Empire of turning a blind eye to their needs, and focusing on the more profitable class M planets such as Olbea. Proximity to the neutral zone has not helped, either, as rampant piracy there has kept back the traders who would normally supply the area.
