Zirr was first inhabited by an unknown nomad people holding slaves and trading for precious gems. They disapeard long before the planet was rediscovered by federation settlers not long after the West Pardus Rim was reopened. The settlers used the planet as a base for illegal trading and a place to sell Ayagres overproduction of water. Zirr grew steadily until the settlers left the West Pardus Rim due to heavy pirate attacks and Zirr again started to fade away.
