Constructed long before the full development of the surrounding sectors, it served simply to mark the outer-most boundary of Keldon, and thus, all of Empire space (at least for now, though theoretically, future discoveries may alter this). All since the beginnings of its existence, it has been the origin of several expeditions into unknown space to the "east". | Iniolol has long been deemed a "backwater" station of the Keldon sectors.
