There are several examples of things shouted in irony within XG cultural history.

Tanner's Shirt

This became a popular meme of the Nordheim branch of the group in 2006. A party was attended at Owen's apartment at some point during the 2006 academic year. Many in attendence were decked out in UW Husky paraphernalia, including yellow and purple body paint and various jersies and husky logos. This was due to the fact that UW had just played a hockey game against Eastern. And so at one point those individuals at the party who actually cared about such things began chanting "Fuck Eastern! Fuck Eastern!" following a similar tempo pattern to the base beat in Queen's "We Will Rock You." This chanting came and went several times during the course of the party, and around the second or third time, several group members, who had been discussing Star Trek earlier, replaced the said lyrics with "Jeffries Tubes! Jeffries Tubes!"--a Star Trek meme that, in retrospect if not for the fact that said group members were heavily liquored up, would have been incredibly nerdy. Later on, this shifted to chants of "Tanner's Shirt," after Brett drunkily grabbed onto Tanner's trademark button-up outfit. This latter phrase became increasingly popular and would be shouted fairly consistently at parties for the next several months.

Bike

This is occassionally shouted at concerts while the crowd is yelling "encore" or "one more song" as an homage to the "I was saying bike" incident.
