Learning Car was a project created by Brett, Jeremy, Gavin and Terry for AP Psych Senior year. The task was to make an advertisement for a product and include psychological concepts present in advertising such as repetition, images, and a recurring theme.

A radio commercial was made on Jeremy's computer using an mp3 editing program. The script (written right before being recorded) advertised a car that would teach the basics of driving "as you go." Unfortunately, the car gave extremely unsafe advice, which included encouraging the student driver to take a nap, trust everything to the car, and race ambulances.

For a catchy theme, an edited version of "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys was included with the title location in the chorus edited out in place of a robotic Gavin voice saying "Learning Car." The final product also included sound clips of Krusty the Clown and Patrick Stewart.

Gavin narrated the commercial, Brett was the voice of the learning car, and Jeremy was the driver of the car. Terry, who was not present at the recording session for unknown reasons, sculpted a clay model of the said vehicle. The project and radio commericial were played for the class, with generally positive results.
