Lukas Red Shifting

Whereas light waves are said to red shift when a receiving source observes a relative increase in wavelength, Lukas Peter Red Shifting describes the phenomenon in which Lukas's epidermal layer turns a luminescent shade of pinkish red.

This is known to occur when experiencing any one or combination of the following emotional states:

• Unmitigated delight
• Unwanted attention
• Embarrassment
• Attraction to a girl nearby

While Terry, Jamie, Lukas, and Andy were trying on tuxedos for the coming prom, all went well until it was Lukas' turn to try on his outfit. For whatever reason, Lukas failed to wear an undershirt when trying on his white dress shirt. And, unfortunately coupled with that, the dress shirt was paper thin. A combination of the realization of this fact and the presence of the female fitting room helper caused an extremely fast Lukas Red Shift, which, as some spectators report, was so luminescent that the red hue could be seen through the shirt.
