Gay, Naked Vampires are demons that haunt Terry. The concept originated during a duel of "Would you Rather" (see Situations) in the winter of 2003 between Terry and Andy with Kevin as the moderator. The vampires were first depicted by Brett visually in a Drawing Game panel.
Situations
Kevin had shifted between asking Andy and Terry questions, the former receiving notoriously easy ones. For example, a typical question to Andy would be: "Would you rather eat a lot of ice cream, or trip and break your neck?" (This is considered by some to be the origins of Softball). When Terry became disgruntled by this lack of fairness, Kevin turned up the heat on Terry's share of questions, which were already quite difficult. In one situation, Terry was asked to choose between scenarios where Jamie would be forced to turn into a kite made of tightly stretched human skin that would fly around the streets of New York City screaming and puking on people all day, or walk around Red Square at the UW with a gay, naked vampire attached to his penis that would only remove itself to vomit and scream at people. The questions continued, with Terry becoming exponentially frustrated.
Group Culture
The Gay, Naked Vampire motif has seen reduced use in contemporary Group Culture, but is still a phenomenon closely associated with Terry whenever it is remembered. It has been suggested that these vampires continue to accompany Terry around the UW campus, with them being visible only to people that aren't Terry.
Drawing Game
An image of Gay, Naked Vampires drawn by Brett. It should be noted that the Red Square depicted in this image was likely referenced as the one found in Soviet Russia on purpose, and is an example of Brett being ironic:
