The Jeremy wail of "Data!" has its origins in the movie 'Star Trek: Nemesis'. Gavin and Lukas went to see this movie and a main plot point was when Data heroically threw himself at a spaceship and was killed. Jeremy had been one of the largest Star Trek: The Next Generation fans of the group and he had not yet seen the movie.
