The Middle School Risk League was consisted of Gavin, Andy Dustan, Nathan, Terry, Michael Woods, and Andrew Jensen between 7th-8th grade.
History
The Risk League was formed with this group of players and would meet about once a week, with the locations cycling between the six members. The trophy for this competition would be up for grabs each week and was a former gun club trophy that Andy wrote names on with a label maker. This trophy is still located in Michael's house. There was a second trophy that was available only for participants in the "Michael Woods Invitational".
The games were spirited and the term "tower of power" was coined by Nathan after he built a pyramid of empty Coke and Sprite cans.
Contemporary
During the most recent Spring Break Gavin was hanging out with Michael Woods, who made a offer to give Gavin the Risk trophy as his family is moving to a downtown Seattle condo and Michael was getting rid of old junk. Gavin declined this offer, and presumably the trophy has been thrown away by now.
