Sardaukar was a "metalcore" band that surfaced in the fall of 2000. Although Shoreline (Shorewood High School, in particular) has since succumbed to a rash of fad-based, emo and screamo high school bands, Sardaukar was very likely the first hardcore band to emerge from west Shoreline.
