A reference to Owen's tendency to have a visceral and over-the-board reaction to any slight against him. A minor insult from anyone will be returned 'twelve-fold', thus the biblical reference. This can lead to genuinely heated moments or minor disdain for an extended period of time. These periods are usually broken by an apology/hug from Owen himself.
Because of this quality most Group members tend not to criticize the otherwise amicable fellow.
