Max Brooks (born Maximillian Brooks on May 22, 1972 in New York City) is an author and screenwriter. He is best known as the author of the books Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z regarding the subject of Zombies. Max Brooks is also the son of Mel Brooks, the well-known comedian.
