Hygienia-AU
From The D Archives
Hygienia-aliupseeri is the term for the Finnish army Hygiene NCO's serving usually in the supply units of different garrisons.
So, umm.. What do these guys do? Firstly, like I said, these guys only serve in units specifically designated as supply units - so you won't find one of these guys in an infantry company, for an example.
And what do they do.. Well, I only knew this one guy who was forced to take the course to make him an Hygiene NCO. And well, from what he told me about it, his job was basically about collecting soil and water samples and making sure all the slop jockeys washed their hands before starting to prepare food.
Not the most glamorous jobs, from what I hear - the guy who landed with this job was pretty much in shambles for the rest of his service.
