A novel collection by Veikko Huovinen.

I'm quite willing and able to admit that I didn't like this book one bit. The humour in it did not quite "strike me the right way", but instead made me wonder if Mr. Huovinen himself only thought that the humour was somehow funny. Especially the entry titled "Sammakkomiehen Päivä" was really breathtakingly shitty, since it only featured a story about Sammakkomies (The Frogman) swimming around and then finally just fucking his wife. The other somehow bland story in the book was "Ota tyttö ojasta", in which (if I can remember correctly) some pseudo-whorish girl gets saved by some respectable gentleman from the city. He ends up marrying the girl, too.
