Personal notes
I was lucky in the sense that I was initially assigned to a unit equipped with the RK95's instead of the older 62/76 models. The older models are good, too, I suppose - but the 95 just has a few extra qualities in it to me things easier.
First, the stock is foldable. This is a major asset during a long march when you've got to lug that rifle round for hours. Secondly, the way you adjust the sights on the 95 is easier to do when compared to the older models. But, I would imagine that the fixed stock models would be better during actual firing and especially during precisioned shots, since I detected along with many other fellow servicemen that the stock tended to swing slightly in its' place during firing - which in turn resulted in a slight loss of accuracy sometimes. Naturally this problem might not manifest itself in all of the rifles - instead probably on just the models with the most wear&tear. ((Category: The great army experience archive]]
