Lapua (Lappo in Swedish) is a municipality in Finland.

It is located next to the Lapua River in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Southern Ostrobothnia region. Famous natives include Teemu Mäki, Esko Nikkari and Vihtori Kosola among others.

Whenever I have to be at school in Vaasa considerably early in the morning, I take a bus leaving from Lapua. Lapua seems a bit vague and run down to me, and there was even a time when a weird naked dude checked me out from a window.

I'd avoid the place.
